Led by social workers, this skill-building workshop teaches participants to reactivate their lives, think realistically, problem solve, and maintain a positive mindset. It also covers healthy eating, exercise, communication with friends and family, and preventing and dealing with relapse. Participants are provided the Antidepressant Skills Workbook and are invited back after six weeks for a booster session.
Suitable for: Individuals with mild to moderate depression.
Frequency: 3 times a year (fall, winter, spring). Weekly 1.5 hour sessions for six weeks (plus a booster session).
